I have been providing care for over 15 years. I come from a long line of caregivers in my family, and we all pride ourselves in what we do. I started out providing care for both of my grandparents in their home until my grandfather passed in hospital inand in home for my grandmother until she was placed in LTC in for severe dementia.

I finally made my caregiving passion a qualified one when I graduated from the PSW course with honours in In I started providing in home care for my parents until my father passed inand now I care solely for my mother. I specialize in care for Alzheimers and Dementia patients as well as palliative care. I like to be someone that the family can count on to take care of their loved one while they can't be there to do it themselves. Giving family that peace of mind that their family is being taken care of, in a safe, and dignified manner.

I give them the utmost of privacy, respect, and dignity that I would expect and want for my own family. I am a strong advocate for seniors staying in the comfort of their own homes for as long as medically possible. I enjoy speaking with groups of health care students and seniors about care, and the level of care that is not only required, but expected, from the ones in our care as well as their family members.

I was often asked to return to the college I graduated from to speak with the students that were either about to start their practicum placements, or about to go out into the workplace. I am a strong advocate for superior care for our seniors, and ones that are most vulnerable. I focus on providing care that is based around compassion, patience, and common sense.

I also speak about always remembering respect, and dignity. I am very passionate about ensuring that everyone is given the best care possible within our scope of practice, and treating each and every client as if they were a member of our own family. If the tour price is quoted in Rand, customers paying in foreign currencies will be required to settle the Rand value of the pro forma invoice charges in full. Cancellations may have significant financial implications for customers.

Customers can mitigate the risk of such costs by taking out travel insurance, which Landscape can arrange for customers on request. Landscape reserves the right to cancel any scheduled tour. In such cases all payments by the customer will be refunded and thereafter Landscape will have no further liability to the customer.

Landscape, its officers, employees, tour guides and agents, will not be held liable for any loss, damage, delay, death, injury, accident or inconvenience, howsoever arising, while the customer is on tour. Landscape encourages customers to re-evaluate their travel, life and medical insurance cover before undertaking a tour.

Should a customer be travelling with a temporary passport, Landscape must be notified in advance, as certain countries do not allow entry on such temporary travel documents. Landscape will not be liable for any costs incurred for travel without the correct travel documents. South African citizens are required to be in possession of their ID documents when travelling within the Republic of South Africa.

Landscape will notify customers in advance of the need for any inoculation certificates required on tour, e. Yellow Fever. Customers are expected to take full responsibility for any medicines they may need on the tour, such as malarial prophylactics. Smoking is not permitted in vehicles owned or operated by Landscape.


In the event of adverse weather, road conditions, force majeure, safety risks or other unforeseen circumstances occurring, Landscape reserves the right to amend the tour itinerary at its discretion, to benefit or protect the passengers. My husband and I had done it a few years previously and wanted our three boys (now aged 8, 10 and 11) to experience it as it is a great introduction to this amazing country. The boys were amazed (more than we had expected, to be honest) by the stunning scenery, thrilled by the off-road driving and impressively explosive geysir, and totally delighted to be able to let off steam in a snowball fight on a real glacier.

We have come home with fantastic memories and cannot recommend this beautiful country enough, even though we only really scratched the surface of all it has to offer.


Even better than we needed on a quick tour. All transportation connections were excellent, and the agents and conductors accepted invoices with no problems. It saved us much effort in figuring out how to get from Bergen, on to Flam, up the special steep train trip from Flan, and then the train for Oslo.

Breakfast at each hotel were fine. I called it an "un-tour" since there was not really a tour group. However, the arrangement left us some adventure in planning our time and visits in each city, while the tour provided the basic structure for us.
